Westbank First Nation (WFN) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a term, part-time position. This role is responsible for comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, including healthcare management, therapeutic interventions, and prescribing medications within established standards and policies. The Nurse Practitioner will provide professional guidance to other health professionals, working both autonomously and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team. This 0.5 FTE contracted role involves delivering culturally appropriate, community-informed care aligned with WFN values and priorities, while participating in team-based care and Primary Care Network (PCN) activities. The position includes both longitudinal, panel-based primary care and same-day or episodic (walk-in) services. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with patients, families, and care teams to identify health trends, contribute to population health strategies, and participate in evaluation, quality improvement, and policy development.
