About The Position

Haven Infusion provides expert infusion care for patients with chronic autoimmune conditions, focusing on compassion, technology, and efficiency to improve outcomes and lower costs. We are hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) on a PRN basis to support patient care at our Flint, MI location. This role offers the autonomy to do great work without burnout. The NP will be responsible for owning and optimizing clinic operations, leading infusion care and patient safety, collaborating with referring providers, educating and supporting patients, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance and streamlined processes. The goal is to build an experience that sets a new standard for infusion care by working closely with patients, referring providers, and team members.

Requirements

  • Skilled in IV placement, port access, and medication reconstitution.
  • Ability to assess patients, recognize complications, and act independently.
  • ANCC or AANP-certified NP with an active Michigan license.
  • Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, SOAP notes, and charge capture.
  • BLS CPR Certification.
  • Knowledge of prior authorizations, billing, and healthcare regulations.
  • 2+ years of patient care in infusion, critical care, or outpatient settings.
  • Independently administered IV therapies and injections.
  • Maintained SOAP notes, charge capture, and patient records.
  • Coordinated care with referring providers.
  • Educated patients on treatment plans and medications.

  • ACLS & PALS Certifications
  • Experience with payer requirements and reimbursement processes.
  • Ambulatory infusion experience.
  • Experience using WeInfuse or similar infusion management software.
  • Implemented or improved clinic workflows.
  • Led or worked autonomously in a startup or new clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Drive daily workflows, solve challenges proactively, and build efficient systems.
  • Prepare, administer, and monitor infusions while maintaining strict safety protocols.
  • Ensure timely communication, clarify orders, and coordinate care seamlessly with referring providers.
  • Make complex treatments clear, so patients feel informed and empowered.
  • Keep EHR records, SOAP notes, and charge capture precise and up to date.
  • Manage prior authorizations, regulatory adherence, and operational efficiency.
