About The Position

CVS Health MinuteClinic is hiring a part-time Nurse Practitioner for a clinic-based role focused on high-quality, in-person patient care. Providers may conduct virtual care visits from the clinic during periods of lower onsite patient volume, provided virtual visits do not delay or interfere with in-person care. MinuteClinic offers clinical support, collaborative resources, evidence-based tools, and a team-based approach. The Nurse Practitioner delivers evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. The role also includes preventive care, diagnostic testing, wellness services, chronic disease management, and coordination with other healthcare professionals. Clinic operations include inventory management, opening and closing the clinic, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, routine examinations, and appointment management. Charting and follow-up are completed during the scheduled shift.

This is a part-time position. The stated schedule is P/T E/O W/End. Physical presence at the assigned clinic is required. The typical pay range is $37.66–$81.11 per hour, with eligibility for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program. Depending on hours worked and eligibility, benefits may include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current national board certification through AANP or ANCC.
• Active, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in good standing.
• Obtain and maintain multi-state licensure based on business needs.
• Ability to provide holistic, evidence-based care, including counseling related to pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices.
• Ability to order and administer vaccines and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, TB testing, and Depo-Provera.
• Complete a DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
• Physical presence at the assigned clinic is required.
• Ability to perform duties involving prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to perform Basic Life Support.

Nice To Haves

• One year of Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred; qualified new graduates may be considered.
• Bilingual proficiency may be required depending on market needs.
• Experience with the EPIC electronic health record.
• Prior MinuteClinic precepting rotation if the candidate has less than one year of provider experience; preferred but not required.
• Experience conducting patient assessments and exercising sound clinical decision-making in a virtual care environment.
• Familiarity with digital health tools and virtual communication technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

• Support a safe and efficient care environment through routine examinations and timely patient appointment management.
• Complete charting and follow-up during the scheduled shift.
