Requirements

Master's or Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current Nurse Practitioner license (or ability to obtain Alaska licensure)
National board certification as an FNP, AGPCNP, AGACNP, or other applicable certification
Current DEA registration
Current BLS certification

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or community health experience
Experience managing chronic conditions and preventive care in an outpatient setting
Passion for building long-term patient relationships and improving health outcomes

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients across the lifespan
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Conduct preventive care visits, annual wellness exams, and health screenings
Develop individualized treatment plans and manage medications
Order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory testing
Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Support quality improvement and population health initiatives
