About The Position

We are seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner based in Florida for a hybrid role combining remote work with occasional travel to healthcare providers. In this position, you'll serve as a clinical liaison, supporting healthcare practitioners with front-end medical billing and coding initiatives while ensuring compliance with payer requirements, healthcare workflows, and HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Florida with independent practice authority.
• Experience working with or supporting healthcare practitioners.
• Strong knowledge of medical coding, payer requirements, and healthcare workflows.
• Familiarity with front-end medical billing and coding processes.
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel within Florida as needed.
• Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
• Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps.
• Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.
• Primary Device: Desktop or laptop equipped with at least: Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor.
• A minimum of 8 GB RAM.
• Backup Device: Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.
• Must be functional during power interruptions.
• A functioning webcam.
• A noise-canceling USB headset.
• A quiet, dedicated home office space.
• A smartphone for communication and verification purposes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare practitioners (HCPs).
• Support providers with medical documentation, coding, and payer requirements.
• Assist in improving front-end medical billing and coding processes.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
• Provide guidance on healthcare workflows and reimbursement best practices.
• Travel to provider locations as needed while working remotely.
