About The Position
Groups Recover Together is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse (NP/ APRN) with Autonomous Practice to join their team as a 1099 Provider in their Roanoake location. Groups offers a proven, evidence-based model of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), which is considered the gold standard for treating opiate use disorder. They combine therapy and medication to help members regain control of their lives.
Requirements
- Active, Unencumbered State License with Autonomous Practice (NP/APRN) in Virginia.
- Active, Individual DEA with address listed in Virginia.
- DEAX designation or proof of 8hrs of qualified training as assigned by SAMHSA.
- Proof of Active Board Certification (NP/ APRN; any specialty).
- Ability to work in-office at one of their Virginia locations.
- Minimum 10 hours weekly availability (M-F; evenings included).
Nice To Haves
- Experience prescribing in the MAT/SUD space is preferred; in-direct/relative experience considered.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting intakes after patients have undergone an evaluation by a counselor.
- Monitor patients' clinical progress during regular group counseling sessions, answering questions and managing medication dosing.
- Authorize patients' prescriptions during monthly visits.
- Complete all notes and reporting in Groups EMR system within the required timeline.
- Focus on medical management within strict protocols and a technology-driven, team-based clinical system.
