You'll have the opportunity to evaluate patients, prescribe medications including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone, and collaborate on individualized patient care plans. Requirements

Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing in North Carolina.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, patient-centered approach.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Nice To Haves

Experience in addiction medicine or substance use disorder treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough medical assessments and evaluations of patients.
Prescribe and manage medication-assisted treatments for substance use disorders.
Collaborate with counselors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update personalized care plans.
Monitor patient progress and make clinical decisions to optimize treatment outcomes.
Educate patients and their families about treatment options, medication adherence, and relapse prevention.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
