About The Position
Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join its growing Rheumatology team at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital and St. Francis Hospital, serving locations in Chicago and Evanston, Illinois. Requirements
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois.
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- At least 1–2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience; rheumatology or internal medicine experience is preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

- Experience in a rheumatology or internal medicine setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive new-patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Perform joint aspirations and injections, interpret imaging, and order appropriate laboratory monitoring.
- Initiate and titrate DMARDs, biologics, and small-molecule therapies.
- Educate patients on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and infusion protocols.
- Collaborate with referring primary care providers, orthopedists, and pain management specialists.
