About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our established Allergy & Immunology practice in Hanford, California. The PA/NP will provide direct patient care in a collaborative outpatient setting, working closely with physicians, clinical staff, and other members of the healthcare team. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate provider who is committed to delivering high-quality care to patients with allergy, asthma, and immunologic conditions.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current or eligible California PA or NP license.
  • Current DEA registration or ability to obtain.
  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to excellent patient care.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative relationship with the supervising physician and clinical team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Allergy, asthma, immunology, primary care, or related clinical experience preferred; however, training may be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage new and established patients with allergy, asthma, and immunologic conditions.
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
  • Provide follow-up care and ongoing management of patients.
  • Evaluate patients receiving allergy immunotherapy and other allergy-related treatments.
  • Order and review appropriate diagnostic testing and laboratory studies.
  • Prescribe medications within the provider's scope of practice.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and ongoing management of their conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical staff to provide safe, consistent, and high-quality patient care.
  • Consult with the physician regarding complex cases or when physician involvement is appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Follow established clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and standards of care.
  • Participate in the continued development and improvement of allergy and immunology services within the practice.
