The Nurse Practitioner will provide preventive and primary health care services to patients within the scope of their licensure and training, collaborative practice agreement, and Northwest Health Services credentialing and privileging policies. This role involves working cooperatively with providers, supervisors, peers, and subordinates to achieve organizational goals and objectives. The position requires accurate and timely completion of medical records, correct coding of services and diagnoses, and participation in quality improvement and community health initiatives. Compliance with HIPAA is mandatory. Essential functions include efficiently providing healthcare services, physically assisting patients as needed, assessing, treating, and diagnosing a wide variety of patients, utilizing evidence-based instruments and critical thinking skills, and communicating effectively with patients and staff. Basic computer skills, light typing, and the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team are also required. The role demands maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
