About The Position
Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, fast-paced urgent care setting at the South Alex Center in Alexandria, Virginia. This is a part-time opportunity consisting of 19 partial shifts, each from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (four hours): 17 weekday shifts and two weekend shifts. The role is part of Inova, a physician-led organization focused on urgent and primary care, with an integrated care model and access to subspecialty primary care options. The organization uses innovative technology, including an Epic electronic health record system and a telemedicine platform. Compensation is salaried, with an equivalent hourly rate of $69.00–$77.00 depending on experience, location, and FTE status. Total compensation may include performance-based bonuses and a benefits package. Requirements
- For Nurse Practitioners: master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or a post-master’s certificate program.
- For Physician Assistants: graduation from an accredited PA program and NCCPA certification.
- At least 1 year of full-time experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Virginia license as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- DEA license.
- Signed Practice Agreement and Scope of Practice/Protocol.
- Successful completion of payer credentialing for Medicare/Medicaid.
- Medical Staff credentialing for clinical privileges.
