The Nurse Practitioner, in coordination with the supervising physician, is primarily responsible for increasing access to substance abuse and medication assisted treatments; coordinating and managing health care services and health education; encouraging health and wellness and disease prevention. The candidate will effectively engage patients; will report to the Medical Doctor for clinical supervision and the Chief Program Officer/Vice President of Behavioral Health Services. The role involves working in a non-traditional environment, such as a mobile unit, visiting underserved, disadvantaged, and disenfranchised communities and populations.
