About The Position

ProgressiveHealth is seeking PRN Nurse Practitioners to provide on-site care at a major manufacturer in Casa Grande, AZ. This role involves providing direct, onsite patient care services, formulating and administering health programs, and managing clinic protocols. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for occupational care for workplace injuries, as well as some acute/primary care services. This position requires flexibility for Monday-Friday, 1st shift coverage.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program with Board Certification.
  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in state of practice location.
  • Not currently have any professional disciplinary proceeding of any state or federal authorities or to any disciplinary action of any medical facility in any jurisdiction.
  • Has never been excluded, suspended, or otherwise sanctioned by Medicare, Medicaid, or any other third-party payor, nor listed on any state or government list of excluded individuals, parties, or specially designated nationals list as debarred, excluded, or otherwise ineligible for participation in government healthcare programs.
  • CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s).
  • A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication.
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Must be flexible Monday-Friday.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H-1B, OPT, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Providing direct, onsite patient care services and other professional services to meet client-requested coverage hours.
  • Formulating and administering health programs and clinic protocols, as needed.
  • Provide occupational care for workplace injuries; some acute/primary care services as needed.
  • Conducting histories and physical examinations, prescribing medications, and/or referrals to imaging or specialists when needed.
  • Assistance with drug screenings and respirator fit testing as needed.
  • Collaborating with the client, nursing staff, and the operations team in determining, executing, and implementing protocols, formularies, emergency plans, and quality assurance programs for the clinic under the state laws, rules, and regulations governing collaborative relationships.
  • Be readily available to give consultation in the provision of health care to patients.
  • Providing guidance and education to any additional clinical staff as appropriate.
