Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with completion of an accredited WHNP program.
  • Valid WHNP or FNP license and Registered Nurse (RN) license in MD.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in women's health including menopause or gynecology.
  • Certification in Women's Health from AANP or NCC (WHNP‑BC or similar).
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and digital literacy.
  • Commitment to team-based, patient-centered, technologically enabled care.

Nice To Haves

  • MSCP (Menopause Society Certified Practitioner) Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive care specializing in providing primary health care to women across the lifespan.
  • Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients within the Mercy Health System.
  • Practice in accordance with the Standards for the practice of under the responsibility and supervision of physicians, clinical patient care services.
  • Support women transitioning through perimenopause and menopause providing expert guidance, treatment, and empathetic support.
  • Perform data gathering, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, management of stable and chronic illnesses, and counseling.
  • Work independently and in collaboration with attending physicians.
