About The Position

Modern Menopause Clinic is a virtual healthcare provider specializing in menopause care for patients across Canada. We're committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive, and convenient care to women navigating this important life transition. We're seeking a skilled and empathetic Nurse Practitioner to join our team and help expand our ability to serve women experiencing menopause. The ideal candidate will be passionate about women's health and comfortable with virtual care delivery.

Requirements

• Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the relevant provincial body
• Proficiency in virtual care delivery and telemedicine platforms
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Familiarity with EMR systems (eg. Avaros) - or willing to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Nice To Haves

• Interest, specialized training or certification in menopause management
• At least 1-2 years of experience in women's health, primary care, or a related field
• Experience with hormone replacement therapy is an asset
• Interest in contributing to clinic growth and service expansion

Responsibilities

• Conducting expert virtual consultations for menopause assessments.
• Delivering comprehensive follow-ups for menopause-related concerns, ensuring continuity of care and patient satisfaction.
• Crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Prescribing and managing hormone replacement therapy and other treatments, staying at the forefront of menopause care.
• Empowering patients through education on lifestyle modifications and self-care strategies, helping them take control of their menopause journey.
• Collaborating seamlessly with our dedicated physician team.
• Reviewing complex cases with on-call physicians or referring to specialists.
• Utilizing a state-of-the-art intake process where patients complete comprehensive forms before appointments.
