About The Position
The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner is responsible for performing comprehensive medical evaluations including ordering and the interpretation of laboratory studies and diagnostic tests for pre-surgical patients. The ARNP is responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, and/or treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Our focus is to maximize the patient's medical condition prior to surgery and act as a bridge between our patients and their primary care physician. Patient education regarding pre-operative instructions, various anesthesia techniques, pre-operative processes, and post-operative pain management. Clinic and Department-based activities which contribute to a positive, productive, and professional work environment are performed.
Requirements
- Master's degree in advanced nursing practice.
- Current and clear license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in CPR.
- Certification in ACLS.
Responsibilities
