Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners to join its urgent care team in the greater Pittsburgh area and other locations across Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The organization partners with UPMC Health System and operates urgent care centers across the region. Clinicians provide care in a setting designed to deliver personal, connected patient experiences and collaborate with an on-site Rad Tech and Medical Assistants as clinical team leaders. Each team member has a primary home center and nearby secondary centers. The centers use an integrated EPIC EMR, point-of-care testing, and on-site X-ray. Scheduling flexibility is available for vacations and wellness days, Monday through Friday; weekend shifts and limited on-call availability are required.
Requirements
- A master's degree.
- ANCC or AANP certification.
- At least 1 year of full-time Emergency Medicine experience, or 2 years of Urgent Care experience; 2 years of Family Medicine experience may also be considered.
- Comfort with minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints.
- Ability to provide preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays.
- Experience treating patients ages 6 months and older in an acute care setting.
