About The Position

We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to underserved communities in rural Ohio. We are seeking a contingent (PRN) Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our integrated care team and help address the mental health needs of our diverse patient population.

Requirements

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in Ohio.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in community mental health, primary care integration, or working with underserved populations is a plus.
• Staff members are required to be vaccinated for the flu (medical and religious exemptions may be requested during the hiring process).

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management with a primary focus on adults and children with serious mental illnesses.
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers, therapists, case managers, and community agencies to coordinate wraparound services and integrated care plans.
• Support patients through stabilization, crisis prevention, and long-term care management.
• Document care thoroughly in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
