About The Position

Requirements

Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas.
Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
Proven experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a healthcare setting.
Excellent knowledge of medical practices, treatments, and procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical assessments, including obtaining detailed medical histories.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work, imaging, and EKGs.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions and provide preventive care.
Develop and implement patient care plans, including medication management and lifestyle modifications.
Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, quality patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient visits, assessments, and interventions.
Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advances in medical knowledge and research.
Adhere to applicable legal and ethical standards in patient care while promoting patient confidentiality and privacy.
