About The Position

Founded in November of 2020, Pain Physicians of Wisconsin is a group of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and a great group of support staff serving the southeast region of Wisconsin. Requirements

• Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing
• Written and Verbal communication skills
• Time management skills
• Empathy and compassion
• The ability to provide accurate, effective care
• The ability to work under pressure for long hours
• Current and unrestricted RN license in the State of Wisconsin.
• BLS certified or obtain certification within three months of hire.
• ACLS certified or obtain certification within the first year of hire.
• Criminal & Caregiver Background Check, renewed every four years
• Professional Reference Check
• TB & Rubella Screen
• Drug Screen

Responsibilities

• Conduct Physicals.
• Collaborate with MD/ Anesthesiologist
• Monitor plan’s effectiveness to optimize patient’s quality of life
• Use prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, treatments, and theories in accordance with state/federal laws and regulations
• Order Tests and Interpret test results.
• Order diagnostic tests.
• Record patient medical history.
• Communicate results to patients.
• Prescribe medications.
