Carolina Outreach is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide clinical services to all clients receiving ACT team services. This role involves medication prescription, administration, monitoring, and documentation; directing psychopharmacologic and medical services; service coordination; crisis assessment and intervention; symptom assessment and management; individual counseling and psychotherapy; substance use treatment; work-related services; activities of daily living services; social, interpersonal relationship, and leisure-time activity services; support services or direct assistance to ensure that individuals obtain the basic necessities of daily life; and education, support, and consultation to individuals’ families and other major supports. The Nurse Practitioner will supervise all medical/clinical aspects of the services delivered, identify appropriate evidence-based or emerging best practices therapies, and consult with primary healthcare providers/other providers on the clinical aspects of the clients being served and the implications for those clients’ physical healthcare needs. They will also coordinate with medical staff of other providers and supervise all other medical staff on the ACT team.
