We are seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our growing outpatient vascular team. In this role, you will perform critical clinical assessments for patients with peripheral artery disease and other complex vascular conditions. You will work side-by-side with our expert interventionalists to build and execute clinical plans that restore blood flow to patients' limbs and prevent amputations.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York (Required).
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or equivalent specialty.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in family medicine, vascular care, or a related healthcare setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in wound care or pain management.
- Additional certification or strong background in geriatrics.
- Familiarity with EMR voice-recognition documentation and telehealth platforms.
- Experience working in fast-paced, multidisciplinary surgical or outpatient settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed physical exams and clinical assessments, focusing primarily on geriatric patient populations.
- Partner with interventionalists to develop, implement, and manage individualized vascular care and pain management plans.
- Generate and finalize your own comprehensive visit notes using voice recognition software within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure strict adherence to patient safety protocols.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health promotion, and treatment pathways to support informed decision-making.
- Maintain precise patient records and participate in clinical initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
