About The Position

As a Nurse Practitioner with Fox Valley Medical Associates (Aurora Location), you’ll help deliver safe, high-quality care with a collaborating physician across hospital and outpatient settings, in the Infectious Disease department. You’ll assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and stable chronic conditions; order and interpret labs/imaging; prescribe medications (including controlled substances as delegated); and document accurately in the EHR. You’ll also counsel and teach patients and families, coordinate referrals/benefits inquiries when specialized testing is needed, support quality and compliance efforts (e.g., HIPAA/OSHA/Medicare), and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program; ANCC/AANP certification
• Current Illinois NP or PA licenses; DEA registration
• CPT & ICD-10 coding and strong medical terminology
• EMR/EHR proficiency (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
