About The Position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Part-time Nurse Practitioner for their Suffolk, VA location. Requirements

Nurse Practitioner with an active, unrestricted licensure and authorized to practice in the state of practice.
Primary specialty in one of the following: Family Medicine/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Practice, Psychiatry.
DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice with ability to schedule 2, 2N, 3, 4, & 5.
Must have or be eligible for enrollment for Medicaid and Medicare credentials.
Additional education or certification may be required depending on state of practice.

Nice To Haves

Experience in addiction medicine, preferably with experience treating patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) and/or providing medication for opioid use disorder.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings.
Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment.
Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards.
Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care to patients, including referrals to other medical providers and community services.
Perform injections.
