About The Position

CVS Health is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide clinic-based care at its Creve Coeur, Missouri HealthHub. The role focuses on high-quality in-person patient care, with virtual visits conducted from the clinic when onsite patient volume is lower and virtual care does not delay or interfere with in-person care. Providers receive collaborative clinical and organizational support and practice using evidence-based guidelines and assessment and treatment-planning resources.

The Nurse Practitioner delivers primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Care also includes diagnostic testing, preventive counseling, injury and illness treatment, care coordination, wellness services, chronic disease management, and preventive screenings. The position also supports clinic operations such as inventory management, opening and closing, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and appointment management. Charting and follow-up are completed during the scheduled shift.

The role requires a master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program, current AANP or ANCC national board certification, an active and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license, and active Basic Life Support certification. A DOT certification exam must be completed within 30 days of employment. The job requires physical presence at the assigned clinic and the ability to pass a respirator fit test. The stated schedule rotates between three- and four-day workweeks and includes every other weekend.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current national board certification through AANP or ANCC.
• Active, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
• Obtain and maintain multi-state licensure based on business needs.
• Ability to provide holistic, evidence-based care, including counseling related to pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices.
• Ability to order and administer vaccines and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, TB testing, and Depo-Provera.
• Complete a DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
• Physical presence at the assigned clinic is required.
• Ability to perform duties involving prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to perform Basic Life Support.

Nice To Haves

• One year of Nurse Practitioner experience; qualified new graduates may be considered.
• Bilingual proficiency may be required depending on market needs.
• Experience with the EPIC electronic health record.
• Prior MinuteClinic precepting rotation, preferred for candidates with less than one year of provider experience.
• Experience conducting patient assessments and exercising sound clinical decision-making in a virtual care environment.
• Familiarity with digital health tools and virtual communication technologies.
