About The Position

Stonington Institute, a division of Universal Health Services, is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to provide behavioral health services. The facility provides substance abuse treatment for adults in Southeastern Connecticut and surrounding areas, including medical detox, residential addiction treatment, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment. The APRN works with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, nurses, and mental health support staff to ensure clients receive client-centered, evidence-based, high-quality care.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in nursing.
• Current State of Connecticut license.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and interdisciplinary team members.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience working in the mental health or substance abuse field is preferred.
