About The Position

American Endovascular (AE) is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to join their growing company. AE treats patients with peripheral artery disease and other vascular complications, with a mission to prevent amputations, improve patients' lives, and lower overall healthcare costs. The Nurse Practitioner will work with the vascular team to provide assessments on patients with vascular disease/conditions and collaborate with interventionalists on the assessment and clinical plan for restoring blood flow to the patient's limbs. Voice recognition is used within their EMR for documentation, and the ability to formulate/generate visit notes is a must.

Requirements

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (Required)
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or equivalent specialty certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in family medicine or a related healthcare setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Ability to formulate/generate your visit notes is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Wound Care experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in pain management and trauma care.
  • Additional certification in geriatrics or pediatrics.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
  • Strong background in patient safety and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and physical examinations for patients of geriatric populations.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, with a focus on family medicine and pain management strategies.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including prescribing medications and therapies as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and trauma recovery to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practices and patient outcomes.
