Requirements

Master’s degree in nursing.
Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/APRN) in the state of employment.
Current DEA registration.
Current CPR, First Aid, and BLS certification.
Ability to maintain continuing education requirements.
Strong communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in behavioral health, addiction medicine, or substance use disorder treatment.
Knowledge of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and co-occurring disorders.
Two or more years of experience in psychiatric or addiction-focused care.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations, health assessments, and annual physical examinations.
Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care.
Collaborate closely with physicians, counselors, and nursing staff to coordinate care.
Participate in treatment planning and case consultations.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation.
Consult with counseling staff regarding patient treatment and medication needs.
Support a culture of quality, safety, compliance, and patient-centered care.
