Join Our Team: Esse Health is currently seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner for our Watson Primary Care office located at 7419 Watson Road. Opportunity: Full-time opening Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. No nights, weekends, or holidays Prefer 1+ years experience as a Nurse Practitioner, but a strong new grad will be considered Outpatient focused clinical practice
Requirements
- Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Missouri (or eligibility)
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians
Nice To Haves
- Prefer 1+ years experience as a Nurse Practitioner, but a strong new grad will be considered
Responsibilities
- Join a collaborative team and develop a 1:1 relationship with patients and clinical staff members
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients
- Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physician partner
- Emphasize preventive care, wellness, and patient education
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (NextGen)
- Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team
- Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives
