About The Position

One to One Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join their care team at The ROW in Reno. This role is crucial for delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care, working collaboratively with care teams to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of health conditions. This opportunity involves providing direct and indirect patient care, where the Nurse Practitioner will be integral to the clinic's success. Responsibilities include evaluating, treating, and managing acute health problems using evidence-based protocols, and developing and implementing appropriate treatment plans under the guidance of a supervising physician. Requirements

  • Comfort and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders, including both client and One to One leadership and members of the interdisciplinary team
  • A passion for helping people and a desire to realize One to One’s goal of patient-first healthcare
  • A self-starter, energized by dynamic operations and a willingness to tackle a wide range of challenges
  • The desire and ability to lead with compassion
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
  • Ability to follow written step-by-step instructions
  • Ability to concentrate, think, and learn
  • Ability to hear, see, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, lift, push, and pull
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician Assistant with an active license
  • 1 year experience in family medicine, internal medicine or urgent care setting required

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-employment and annual wellness physicals
  • Manage acute and chronic health problems using evidence-based protocols creating and implementing appropriate treatment plans under supervising physician’s protocols
  • Provide health screenings and other disease prevention programs
  • Evaluation and treatment of patients for injury and illness
  • Report and review cases with the medical director and client managers
  • Oversee respirator and auditory testing for employees by clinic staff
  • Provide age-appropriate assessments and interventions to meet the needs of teammates
  • Uphold high ethical standards and practice within the scope of practice outlined in the written protocol
  • Provide patient education, health coaching, and patient health advocacy
  • Order and analyze diagnostic tests
  • Monitors the effectiveness of interventions
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals
  • Enter patient data into the EMR system accurately & promptly
  • Assist in all areas of the clinic, if needed
  • Perform related duties as required
