About The Position
Our established multidisciplinary practice in Howell, NJ is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP interested in orthopedics, physical medicine, sports medicine, or pain management with a flexible schedule and excellent work-life balance.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active New Jersey NP license
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
Nice To Haves
- Orthopedic, pain management, physical medicine, or sports medicine experience preferred
- Injection experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform orthopedic-focused evaluations and follow-up visits
- Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal conditions
- Order and review labs and diagnostic imaging
- Perform joint and trigger point injections, as appropriate
- Prescribe medications and therapy when indicated
- Order DME, including back braces
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans
- Refer patients to in-house PT, OT, chiropractic, acupuncture, and other services
- Maintain timely, accurate EHR documentation
- Collaborate with providers to deliver comprehensive patient care
