About The Position
Performs and documents patient physical assessment to identify priority care needs, obtains a detailed medical history, identified patients at physiological and/or physiological risk. Performs procedures necessary to implement plan of care, orders tests and consults as required by plan of care. Accurately documents all patient care activities and evaluates the outcome of patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Nursing
- Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or graduate of post masters certificate program for nurse practitioner
- BLS Certified within 90 days of hire
- Adult NP Certificate
- RN. Certification for advanced practice
- Licensed or eligible for licensing in Alabama
- Registered Nursing License
Nice To Haves
- One year of medical experience from a similar setting
- MSN
- 1 to 2 years Healthcare/Hospital experience
- American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
