About The Position
This is a part-time, 1099 contract position for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct one-time assessments for Veterans to aid in their disability claim process. The role offers a low-stress environment with a guaranteed income and built-in support, allowing clinicians to make a meaningful impact serving Veterans. The organization is provider-led and prioritizes clinicians. The work involves reviewing records and completing assessments electronically on a secure platform, with fully provided technology, training, and clinical support. This role does not involve treatments, procedures, diagnosing, prescribing, billing, or disability percentage calculations. Scheduling is managed, and walk-ins are not permitted. There are no nights, weekends, or holidays required.
Requirements
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner.
- Ability to conduct one-time assessments.
- Proficiency in electronic record review and assessment completion.
- Willingness to work in a low-stress setting.
- Ability to work 3 days per week.
- New graduates or experienced providers are welcome.
