About The Position
A children’s rehabilitation facility in Brooklyn is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a strong background in pediatric critical care to join our team. This is a highly specialized role supporting medically complex pediatric patients in a dynamic rehab environment. We are looking for a confident, skilled provider with excellent clinical judgment, strong critical care experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in New York
- Strong pediatric critical care experience required
- Ability to work night shifts
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced clinical care to pediatric rehab patients with complex medical needs
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor medically fragile children and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Perform thorough patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and support teams to ensure high-quality care
