PT Infusion Nurse Practitioner (NP)
About The Position
Join IVX Health as a PT Nurse Practitioner! This role is based at the Pickerington Clinic in Reynoldsburg, OH. The hours are Wednesdays from 8 am to 2 pm, Thursdays from 9 am to 7 pm, and Fridays from 8 am to 2 pm, with flexibility required to support market needs. Days and locations may be subject to change. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality, specialized infusion therapy in an outpatient setting. As a Nurse Practitioner at IVX Health, you will oversee patient care, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and serve as a trusted resource for patients, families, and providers, ensuring treatments are delivered with precision and care.
Requirements
- Active and Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license (if required by the state).
- AANP or ANCC board certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation, including experience with EHR systems.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to treat a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatrics.
- Strong IV and Infusion Therapy skills, including experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Nice To Haves
- PALS certification preferred.
- Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting is a plus.
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections with precision.
- Perform patient evaluations, document SOAP notes, and monitor treatment responses.
- Guide patients and families through treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, review nursing documentation, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards.
- Assist with chart preparation and treatment planning to streamline patient visits.
- Work closely with referring providers and cross-functional teams to enhance care coordination.
- Assist in inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
- Work at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed.
- Take on other responsibilities as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.
