About The Position

A busy and growing otolaryngology (ENT) practice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment alongside experienced ENT physicians and skilled clinical staff. The NP will provide comprehensive patient care in both clinical and procedural settings. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients with ear, nose, and throat conditions, assisting with in-office procedures, and supporting the practice in delivering high-quality specialty care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and eager to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced specialty clinic.

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted Alabama license as a Nurse Practitioner.
• National certification (AANP, ANCC)
• Current CPR certification.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Completion of an approved nurse practitioner program with national certification.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience and at least 1 year as a practicing NP.
• NP/PA ENT : 1 year (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Experience in ENT, allergy, or related specialty.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.
• MSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations, obtain medical histories, and perform physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic ENT-related conditions.
• Assist in minor in-office procedures, postoperative care, and patient follow-ups.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing or dispensing medications in accordance with state law.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement, peer review, and continuing education activities.
