About The Position
This is a Nurse Practitioner position at Talladega Primary Care, located at 803 North Street E, Talledega, AL 35160. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. The role is for a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner with a passion for primary care, who thrives in both fast-paced hospital environments and dynamic outpatient settings. As a valued member of the cardiology care team, the Nurse Practitioner will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, relationship-centered care to patients with cardiovascular needs. The position is with Baptist Health Medical Group, a physician-led group committed to compassionate care and clinical excellence, offering easy access to integrated care within Baptist Health's extensive network. Requirements
- MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing required.
- ARNP license in the state of Alabama.
- After July 1, 2006, licensure applicants are required to have national advanced certification from an approved nursing specialty board.
- Maintains current BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Conduct diagnostic and follow-up evaluations.
- Provide compassionate, age-appropriate care to patients and families.
- Document accurately and timely across all encounters.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to continuous patient-care improvement.
- Serve as a clinical resource and collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals.
