Requirements

Master's Degree in Nursing required. (Clinical Nurse Specialist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner)
Must be licensed.
Must have or be able to quickly obtain prescriptive authority.
Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.

Nice To Haves

One to three years of experience in Psychiatric Nursing environment or mental health care environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management.
Collaborate with treatment team members for medical supervision, utilizing advanced knowledge of psychopathology and psychopharmacology to assist clinical team members in diagnosis, case formulation, and choice of treatment interventions.
Maintain an effective, collaborative relationship with Psychiatrists.
Follow best practice prescribing protocols as identified in research and from organizational processes.
Maintain an effective professional relationship with clinical support/nursing to efficiently and successfully support patients during and in between appointments.
