About The Position

IVX Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality, specialized infusion therapy in an outpatient setting. The NP will oversee patient care, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and serve as a trusted resource for patients, families, and providers, ensuring every treatment is delivered with precision and care. This role involves providing direct patient care, conducting assessments, educating patients and families, ensuring compliance with standards, optimizing clinical workflows, collaborating with healthcare teams, supporting operations, and working at multiple facilities within a designated market.

Requirements

  • Active and Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Registered Nurse (RN) license (if required by the state).
  • Board Certification – AANP or ANCC certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Ability to treat a diverse patient population – Must be able to care for both adults and pediatrics.
  • Strong IV and Infusion Therapy Skills – Experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols.
  • Proficiency in Clinical Documentation – Experience with EHR systems and a strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional Communication & Collaboration – Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Nice To Haves

  • PALS certification preferred.
  • Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting is a plus.
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections with precision.
  • Perform patient evaluations, document SOAP notes, and monitor treatment responses.
  • Guide patients and families through treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, review nursing documentation, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards.
  • Assist with chart preparation and treatment planning to streamline patient visits.
  • Work closely with referring providers and cross-functional teams to enhance care coordination.
  • Assist in inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
  • Work at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed.
  • Take on other responsibilities as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.
