About The Position

One Medical is a primary care solution that aims to make quality care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable. Their services include seamless in-office and 24/7 virtual care, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses, and mental health concerns. In February 2023, One Medical joined Amazon to expand their reach and improve health outcomes. This is a casual employee role (per diem, hourly clinician) with an anticipated average of 8-20 patient care hours per week, varying by office needs. The role is primarily based in the Coconut Grove Office but anchored to 2-3 Miami locations, requiring flexibility to work at multiple sites. The Nurse Practitioner will see patients with a wide range of needs, conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits. This is not a panel-building role. Responsibilities include treating patients in-office, conducting occasional telehealth visits, collaborating with in-office and virtual clinical teams, and utilizing specific clinical training for in-office procedures. The role also requires obtaining additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care in other states.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of primary care experience required as an advanced practitioner.
• Currently licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Florida
• The ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively both 1-on-1 and in groups.
• Can thrive in a fast-growing, mission driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes.
• Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Family, ages 0+

• The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds

• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care

Responsibilities

• Seeing patients with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel-building role)
• Treating patients in-office as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
• Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
• Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
