Florida Kidney Physicians (FKP) is expanding in Port Charlotte and looking for dedicated Nurse Practitioners to be part of our growing team! Learn more about our mission and values: https://flkidney.com/ This unique position focuses on hospital rounding and follows a 7‑days‑on, 7‑days‑off rotation, with work hours from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. during on weeks. Hospital locations: Fawcett Memorial Hospital (21298 Olean Blvd) and AdventHealth Port Charlotte 2500 Harbor Blvd). Requirements

  • Master’s degree program in nursing, with nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements
  • Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
  • Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
  • Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
  • Knowledge of documentation in medical records in a confidential manner.
