Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
The Nurse Practitioner applies advanced education and clinical competencies to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The role addresses problems of diverse scope and complexity, ranging from moderate to substantial, and provides health promotion and maintenance through diagnosis and treatment of acute illness and chronic conditions. Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medication, and providing treatment. The Nurse Practitioner exercises independent judgment and decision-making on complex matters, analyzes variable factors to determine appropriate courses of action, and works under minimal supervision. The position also advises executives on significant matters and develops functional strategies, often specific to a business segment. This is a patient-facing role and part of Humana/Senior Bridge's tuberculosis screening program. Selected candidates must complete TB screening and be willing to participate in limited phone-based on-call coverage. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week and is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Eight or more years of technical experience.
- Two or more years of project leadership experience.
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or PA license in the appropriate state.
- Must complete TB screening if selected for the patient-facing role.
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
- Must be willing to participate in limited on-call coverage by phone.
Nice To Haves
- Master of Science in Nursing or a PA degree.
