Additionally, the role includes directing and participating in preventive health programs, adhering to the CVHS contract, and assisting other health professionals. Maintaining high standards of personal and professional behavior, engaging in continuing professional education, and providing health maintenance education to patients are key aspects. The position also involves participating in quality assurance programs, consulting with collaborating physicians when needed, and maintaining complete and orderly medical records. Administrative, supervisory, and teaching duties may be performed as directed, and supporting a team-based approach to patient-centered medical care is essential. The role requires working without on-site physician supervision and a commitment to rural living.
