About The Position
Marathon Health is a value-based advanced primary care provider serving members through onsite, nearsite, network, and virtual health centers. The company emphasizes relationship-based care, prevention and wellness, acute and chronic disease management, and health education. Providers work autonomously and practice at the top of their license, with resources such as UpToDate and RubiconMD available at no cost to providers or patients. The care model features smaller patient panels, appointments lasting 20 to 60 minutes, fewer administrative and insurance-related tasks, and success measured by health outcomes rather than patient volume or billing. The position is PRN. The listed pay range is $57.00–$76.00 per hour; the actual offer may vary based on geographic location, years of experience, and skill level.
Requirements
- Active nurse practitioner license.
- Current ANCC or AANP board certification.
- CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.
Nice To Haves
- Independent practice provider status, where applicable under state regulations.
- Federal DEA number; it may be required for full prescribing ability.
- Independent family practice experience, including routine wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visits.
