About The Position
St. Mary's General Hospital is a community-based tertiary medical center in Passaic, New Jersey, providing acute care and a broad range of services, including cardiovascular care, cancer care, maternal-child health, and outpatient behavioral health. The Nurse Practitioner provides general care to patients of all ages with patience, compassion, and understanding. The role involves tasks within the practitioner’s scope of practice, which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians, promoting public awareness of health, and prescribing medications.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with specialization as an ARNP.
- Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
- BLS certification upon hire and maintain current certification.
- Previous experience with an electronic health record.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
