About The Position
SynapseTBI provides specialized diagnostic and treatment services for patients with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI), and Post-Concussion Syndrome. We offer neurological consultations, diagnostic evaluations, individualized treatment planning, neuro-rehabilitation coordination, and multidisciplinary care to support patients throughout their recovery journey. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our in-clinic healthcare team in St. Louis, Missouri. This role is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supporting clinical operations, and collaborating closely with the physician and medical staff to ensure an efficient and patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- EMR experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in neurology, rehabilitation, pain management, or TBI-related care preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations, assessments, and follow-up visits
- Review patient history, symptoms, and treatment progress
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans under physician supervision as applicable
- Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in the EMR system
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff regarding patient care and coordination
- Monitor patient progress and communicate recommendations as needed
- Assist with in-clinic procedures, therapies, and treatments as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with clinic protocols, healthcare regulations, and safety standards
- Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families
- Support daily clinic workflow and operational efficiency
