About The Position

Cardiology Center of Houston is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their team in Katy, TX. CCOH is a high-volume, premier cardiology practice led by experienced board-certified cardiologists and nurse practitioners, serving the community for over 30 years. The practice specializes in adult and geriatric cardiology, offering a range of diagnostic and treatment services including EKGs, stress tests, ablations, ultrasounds, cardiac nuclear medicine, and Holter/event monitors. Their specialists also perform in-hospital procedures. The full-time Nurse Practitioner will work under the general supervision of the primary supervising physician and physician partners, delivering competent medical care to adult and geriatric patients. The NP will function independently and collaborate with CCOH Interventionalists to assess, manage, and treat complex cardiovascular conditions in high acuity units, adhering to the scope of practice defined by the Texas Board of Nursing, Texas Medical Board, and CCOH policies.

Requirements

• Cardiology experience is required as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Board Certification (FNP, ACNP, AGACNP are open).
• Experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Active TX license or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competent medical care to an age-specific population including adults and geriatric patients.
• Work independently and collaborate with Cardiology Center of Houston Interventionalists.
• Assess, manage, and treat complex cardiovascular conditions in high acuity units.
• Maintain scope of practice consistent with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.
