About The Position
WarriorVets Medical Services, PLLC is seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide general medical evaluations to current and former US Military veterans. This is a contract opportunity with a clinician-owned and led health company that focuses on delivering in-person care. The role involves one-time, general medical evaluations (not disability evaluations) that typically take 30 to 90 minutes per veteran. The company handles all administrative tasks, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care. The current need is for 3 days per week, with appointments not exceeding a total of eight hours on those days. Payment is up to $150 per hour, with compensation for each evaluation, and payment is remitted within 45 days of encounter documentation.
Requirements
- Unrestricted state medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice.
- Education and training in a US-accredited, post-baccalaureate (Masters) course of study.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or certification by the ANCC or AANP.
- 2+ years of post-graduate primary care experience.
- Established collaborating physician (if required by your state).
Responsibilities
- Perform in-person general medical evaluations for veterans.
- Assess the veteran population.
- Complete encounter documentation in the EMR.
