About The Position

ChristianaCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Urogynecology team. This position focuses exclusively on subspecialty work in Urogynecology, serving a robust patient population without general gynecology or primary care patients. The role involves close collaboration at the main clinical site in Newark, DE, with coverage extending to the Smyrna, DE practice. Early career clinicians and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Requirements

Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Delaware.
Certification in a relevant specialty area (e.g., Women’s Health, Family Medicine).
Prescriptive authority and DEA registration (or eligibility).
BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in Urogynecology, Women’s Health, or Urology preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently evaluate and manage patients with pelvic floor disorders including: Urinary incontinence, Pelvic organ prolapse, Overactive bladder, Fecal incontinence, Recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs)
Provide patient education and counseling.
Assess patients for potential surgical referral and coordinate with the surgical team as needed.
