Full-time Nurse Practitioner Urgent Care | Valley Falls KS
About The Position
The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus-Family Medicine in Topeka, Kansas, is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Valley Falls Clinic. This is an outpatient-only position with experienced support staff. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with no weekend or call requirements. The position is based out of Valley Falls but involves significant time in Topeka and surrounding communities, completing nursing home visits. While it's a family practice role, the ideal candidate will have a special interest in geriatrics and long-term care, as most of the work is in this environment. This is a busy position due to travel and multiple locations, requiring the ability to work autonomously and independently while appropriately directing questions to the supervising physician. EMR system used is EPIC. Two or more years of NP or PA experience is desired.
